Blending It Up

One of the projects I've been working on in my spare time (Spare time?  What is that? LOL) is a book about our vacation at the beach this summer.  I made a few pages about visiting the boardwalk.  I took this photo:

And turned it into this background for my page:

Then I designed my finished page on top of it.  Here's how that turned out:
